The Glue of Life

Having just recorded a podcast with Simon Cantan on collaboration, where the topic of trust features heavily, discovering this talk had a certain synchronicity.


Aiding someone because you trust they would do it for you is a good basis for small group interaction. However, beyond a certain group size and skill variety, there is little basis to expect the situation might be reversed.

So, I would rephrase/expand Simek’s thesis as: You help them because you trust they would help someone else.
