I did not decide in advance to devote the Bank Holiday weekend to writing, so ironically, managed plenty of writing. However, I have awarded myself a slight break: today’s post is a short quote.
You must write every single day of your life… You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads… may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.
― Ray Bradbury
Having written even on the days most justifiably to be taken off, I now retire to balance a book upon my noggin. And by the power of osmosis, better my mind as well as my posture.
